Seminar: Preparation of road construction machinery and vehicles for 2025-2026 autumn-winter construction season20-10-2025 “Preparation of road construction machinery and vehicles for 2025-2026 autumn-winter construction season” seminar was held on October 17, 2025 in Nizhnekamsky branch of JSC “Tatavtodor”. Chief engineers and mechanics of company branches and construction sites mechanics participated in the seminar and discussed the following issues:
- early battery outage; common mistakes in batteries exploitation in winter/summer seasons;
- reasons for outage of remote controls and slope sensors of asphalt pavers; methods of diagnostics and replacement of worn out parts; rules of cutters discarding; lubrication interval, points and types; preventive repairs to avoid SKD breakdowns;
- administrative violations and their effects; procedures and necessary documents in case of traffic accidents;
- ordering of spare parts and accessories for professional equipment, interaction of employees with mechanics of company branches and construction sites;
- specific aspects of exploitation, preventive repair, early detection of equipment defects, operational features of KDM ED500AK special equipment mounted on KAMAZ-65115 chassis;
- exploitation of tyres in winter season, early detection of tyres defects.
