The output of plant AMMANN UNIVERSAL – 240 is 240 tons of asphalt-concrete mix per hour. One mixing batch is up to 3 tons. The plant is designed for production of hot and cold mixes of all types, including broken rock-mastic asphalt, heavy-duty material that is used for highways with highly intensive motor traffic. Metering bins of 15 m3 capacity permit to work simultaneously with seven inert source materials.
Asphalt-mixing plant manufactured by AMMANN Company is provided with microprocessor system of control, which allows the operator to check the work of different units and assemblies and all the stages of batch process in the real time mode. All the changes in the order are displayed at the monitor just after some milliseconds, and it permits the operator to intervene, if necessary.
Environment protection norms are not forgotten by the designers and constructors. The dust collector AFA installed at the Plants brings practically to zero the emission of dust into atmosphere. The territory of each plant is arranged to provide for the highest quality of asphalt made there. The sites for unloading and storing of inert materials are paved with cement-concrete, which does not let the materials to become mixed and permits to store up about 1.5 million ton of broken rock.
Inauguration of the Plants
On July 18, 2009 took place a remarkable event in the sphere of road-building industry of Tatarstan and Russia. JSC “TATAVTODOR” simultaneously put into operation six modern high-efficient asphalt-mixing plants in Apastovo, Arsk, Mamadysh, Aksubaevo, Menzelinsk and Nizhnekamsk. Technological basis for each plant is an asphalt-mixing unit manufactured by world-known Swiss company AMMANN.
In the inauguration ceremony for these 6 plants, that took place at the Arsk Branch, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Mr. M. Sh. Shaimiev and President of the Holding Company “AMMANN GRUPPE” Mr. Johan Shnaider.
The new asphalt-mixing plants were erected in one year only. In May of 2008 the work sites were prepared and plants’ foundations were laid. Electric and gas supply lines to the construction sites were laid, motor-road approaches, and in some cases, railroad lines were provided. In August-September foreign specialists started the installation of equipment, and by the end of spring of 2009 asphalt-mixing plants AMMANN UNIVERSAL - 240, after successful production tests, were ready for full-scale operation.
At the new six plants there are new administrative buildings, road-engineering laboratories, canteens, amenity and store rooms, and all the other elements of infrastructure provided also.
For the delivery of road-building materials there are 7 terminals at railroad line ends, wharf near township Naberezhnye Morkvashy and 5 loading-unloading sites on the river banks.
In 2007 JSC “TATAVTODOR” put into operation the unit for preparation of bitumen emulsion DENIMO TECH with output capacity of 12 ton per hour. In 2009 another 6 units for bitumen emulsion preparation ENH, manufactured by Danish company with 10 ton per hour output capacity were built.
Two Company depots have plants for mineral powder production with output of 21 ton per hour.
Seventh AMMANN UNIVERSAL-240 asphalt-mixing plant was put into operation on August 24, 2019 in Buinsky branch of JSC “Tatavtodor”.
